Blogging takes too much time and stresses me out

The fireplace in this home is the cream dream winter equivalent of it's rooftop in the beloved summertime. Both are highly precarious and totally choice in the right weather conditions. The last two weekends have been devoted to gathering firewood for the fireplace with my best good friend Anna, in case you wanted to know. It is the best and only option when it comes to heating our home at the moment, and I have been busying myself trying (and failing miserably) to chop wood to support the cause. I am in the middle of The Road by Cormac McCarthey and I have convinced myself that it is a skill I need to build.

I resent the fact that I let my camera get stolen in Costa Rica, specifically because of the difficulty it is going to create in establishing online cred and blog appeal. To support my case and status, I would like to share with you a picture from Halloween. I was a better Sarah Palin than I ever thought!

So, in an effort to open different lines of communication and cultivate friendships that have migrated and are better supported in an online environment, I have decided to create this blog.
This is also an attempt to document events or issues that my addled mind may not be able to manage alone.
